About this course

This theoretical-practical course is designed for beginner physicians or those with partial knowledge of fillers. We will focus on understanding the pharmacological properties of hyaluronic acids, as well as the different techniques used in facial procedures with the Belotero range (CPM technology).

Additionally, an anatomical-topographical review of the different treatment areas will be conducted, allowing physicians to ensure their procedures and enhance their results.

Content

Anatomy

Anatomical-topographical review of: • Frontal region • Temporal region • Zygomatic region • The importance of the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) • Nose • Lips • Mandibular and chin region • Fasciae and ligaments • Biomechanics of aging Each region will cover topographical and descriptive anatomy, safety and risk zones, and different treatment techniques.

Physicochemical and Biochemical Properties of Hyaluronic Acids

Physicochemical characteristics of the products The importance of rheology in patient selection Standardized protocols

Accurate Diagnosis and Managing Expectations

Proper clinical evaluation Who qualifies and who does not? Identifying the ideal patient Expectations vs. reality (myths and truths)

Live Injection Practice

Each participant will have the opportunity to perform a diagnostic evaluation, correlate the patient’s anatomy with their clinical characteristics (related to aesthetic concerns) and treat at least 2-3 zones per patient.
